  • Description

Titles read: "AIRMEN OF THE FUTURE".

    Various locations in Britain.

Montage of quick shots show RAF airmen in training at centres of the Air Training Corps, in workshops and on aircraft beside hangars. Commentator tells us that the pre-entry scheme for the Royal Air Force now comes under the direction of Mr W W Wakefield MP, former England Rugby Captain and RFC Pilot of the last war. We see Mr Wakefield sitting at a table with the Duke of Hamilton, Commandant for Scotland.

Wakefield talks of the growing ranks of the Air Training Corps. The Duke of Hamilton talks of the quality of the cadets. Wakefield asks us to help in whatever way we can to aid our young men in reaching their heart's desire - becoming RAF airmen.

In Edinburgh, we see several shots of ATC cadets marching through the city after more than 12 months of training.
