Mill Hill isn't in Scotland. Think this refers to the BEA Vickers Viking (not a Dakota) crash on 31st October 1950. Flight was operating from Paris Le Bourget to London Northolt.

  2. Nickbat says

This was indeed a BEA Dakota, flying from Northolt with an intended destination of Glasgow-Renfrew Airport on 17th October 1950. It crashed shortly after leaving Northolt.
