    B-17 Flying Fortress bombers returning from raid in 1943. The tail letter “G” in a triangle identify them as part of the 305th Bombardment Group (Heavy), the fuselage letters “WF” as the 364th Bombardment Squadron. The 305th BG operated from RAF Grafton Underwood (1942) and then Chelverston (Dec 1942 - 1945).
