    Airco De Havilland aeroplane bringing letters from England to British soldiers stationed in Cologne (Koln) Germany; ca 1919. CU men (RAF?) loading bags of letters into plane; stuffing them in back seat etc. with pilot already in his seat.

    CU as man stands by plane; talking to pilot; he hands up a paper for the pilot to sign.

    Title 'In case of mishap; the Pilots wear life belts'. CU pilot up in cockpit he fastens his seat belt. MS aeroplane with several men pushing it forward.

    Plane picks up speed; heads off across field. MS aeroplane in flight; going diagonally across screen from bottom right corner to top left.
