Some are seen talking to men as they sit in the cockpits of their biplanes (alas, no soundtrack). M/Ss of a plane taking off. Various shots of a plane in flight, including air to air shot. L/S of the aeroplane coming back down to land. The woman pilot is congratulated by male and female friends plus a little Scottie dog.

    Intertitle reads: "And here's a lady you've often heard on the stage, or over the radio... Maria Sandra, the well-known Soprano, about to reach new high notes!"
    M/S of Maria Sandra wearing flying gear and climbing into the cockpit of her plane. The propellor is started by a man and the plane moves off and out of shot.

    "seen talking to men as they sit in the cockpits of their biplanes" - actually it's the same aircraft each time, a de Havilland DH.60X Moth, Reg. No. G-EBZL, owned by the Phillips and Powis Flying School in Reading.
