• Short Summary

Russian reveal their plan to land to moon.

  • Description

"The glimpse of the future is presented exactly as received from Moscow, with its original commentary by a Soviet woman speaker."

A short illustration film explaining one of the possibilities of landing on the moon - Soviet style.

A three piece rocket is launched from ground and it aims towards moon. First section of the rocket falls off when its fuel is used up, the second as well. Rocket increases in speed as it loses the two dispensable sections - only bullet shaped capsule stays. Radar stations guide the flight system - we see rays circling from various stations on earth. Drawing showing the rocket circling around the earth. Another refuelling rocket comes from earth and the first rocket is refuelled. It heads towards moon and lands there. After landing on the moon, rocket is transformed into laboratory and a small tank with a camera on top gets out and starts exploring the moon. People in the darkened cinema watching this film.
