Lovely little film showing women aviators having a fun game throwing flour bombs out of 'planes!
"Eve always was a high-flyer, but here's a new game for her. A flag and a ring make the "hole". L/S of a group of women in a field standing inside a ring marked out with ribbon. There is a flag in the middle of the ring. Closer shot of the women as a coin is tossed. They throw their arms in the air and three of the women rush off.
L/S of some of the girls getting their aircraft ready for travel. Nice M/S of the six girls putting on their flying helmets. Dissolve into a C/U of one helping another with her helmet. One of the girls laughs uproariously. M/S of four of the girls standing in a row beside their aircraft. They pretend to be speaking to each other through the little microphones they have attached to their helmets (presumably a way of communicating with each other when they are in the air.) Two of the girls wave at the camera as they climb into their plane. C/U of two other girls waving them off. L/Ss of the plane taking off.
"Those landing a small flour bag in the ring in the quickest time, win! (But, a Scorer's lot is not a happy one, thinks Reita Nugent!)" L/S of the plane passing over head and over the marked out ring. Various shots of the flour bombs hitting the ground. Faked shot of one of the girls throwing a flour bomb from the 'plane. M/S of girls on the ground getting very excited. "They could call this a game for young "Moth-ers". Low angle shot of the plane passing over head - a Gypsy Moth presumably. M/S of a flour bomb hitting the target. L/S of the plane on the ground. The girls rush up to greet their friends. End shot of four of the girls shaking hands and smiling at the camera.
