• Short Summary

Metal sculptures by Bernard Lareda can be assembled by gallery visitors to create new works of art!

  • Description

    Circle Art Gallery, London.

Sculptor Bernard Lardera is seen placing one of his metal sculptures on a pedestal; a woman is seen looking at other work by the artist at an exhibition at the gallery. In an outside exhibition area, Bernard pokes his head through part of another sculpture; the objects all seem to have several metal pieces that slot together with metal teeth.

Various shots as a dolly bird fits several pieces of metal sculpture together; the pieces are interchangeable and Bernard believes people who play with these 'adult toys' can become partners with him to bring a new sculpture into being. Bernard appears and helps the girl to slot the final pieces in place.

    Good footage of modern art.
