Pole balancing act - various stunts performed high above the ground.
"... here's a fellow who does his daily dozen in mid-air - " A man climbs up a high bendy pole. He balances himself on the top of the pole and turns himself upside down. He stands on top of the pole on one leg. He does various acrobatic moves. He balances with the pole in the small of his back then turns himself around and around.
As a contrast we see someone who does his acrobatics in a canoe. We see a man capsize and flip back up again. He does this several times. Intertitle observes: "They'll have to shoot him to stop him."
