Full title reads: "A Mirthquake of Twenty Years Ago".
Introductory Intertitle reads: "Over a score of years ago, Max Linder, the famous Comedian - made a comedy dealing with the prehistoric theme of fly-paper. Our fathers roared at it - let's see what it looks like today."

Comic Max Linder gets a flypaper stuck to him when visiting a bakers shop, he then goes to visit his fiancee and because of the flypaper everything he touches sticks to him causing firstly confusion then anger and chaos. He finally runs from room and collides with the baker ending up covered with flypaper sitting completely dishevelled on the floor.
