Two men in uniform, wearing plumed helmets, carry an enormous wreath along a red carpet. They are followed by a group of bridesmaids in white dresses, to the side troops forming a guard of honour. C/U of the bridesmaids passing, behind them is the happy couple. M/S of the Duke Valentinois and his bride, flanked by armed guards, the bride smiles and nods at onlookers. Other dignitaries follow them in the wedding parade, including the Prince of Monaco (Prince Albert).

L/S of the newly weds coming down an enormous lavish staircase outside the Palace, as they reach the bottom the crowd of well-wishers applaud. M/S of a little girl presenting the bride with an enormous bouquet of flowers, the bride kisses her in gratitude, an elderly man steps forward to shake the groom's hand.
