Background: A three-man delegation from ghana, led by the Commissioner for Lands and Natural Resources, Major Kwame Baar, on Friday (21 April) delivered a note from Colonel Ignatius Acheampong to the Nigerian Federal leader, General Yakubu Gowon, in Lagos.
A state house announcement said Major Baar and General Gowon exchanged views on matters of mutual interest to the two West African states. Later, at the Trade Ministry, Ghanaian and Nigerian government officials held exploratory talks on ways of boosting bilateral trade between the two countries.
