In Singapore, an increasingly popular way to ease the expensive burden is for young couples to join in a sponsored mass wedding group. The idea became an attractive alternative two years ago when with much publicity, a group of enterprising travel agents put together an annual mass wedding tour.

Thrown in for the brides is a pre-facial treatment before their honeymoon departure.
