    The United States Air Force has recently developed a new non- nuclear bomb which it's claimed can kill anything within a radius of 3,280 feet (984 m). In this film, from the United States Department of Defence, the bomb is show being tested at an undisclosed site. Knowledge of the bomb cane to light this week when two American scientists described its use in South Vietnam. They said it had sometime been used against people but its main uses were to clear jungle areas for helicopters and troops.

    The Air Force says the bomb wasn't officially secret but it wasn't given publicity because it was such a devastating weapon.

    The bomb is 4.5 foot (approx 1 m) in diameter: and contains more than six tons of a powerful blasting agent. The Air Force says the bomb has been in use for some time in Vietnam.
