The Soviet and Czechoslovak government delegations have ended their talks in Moscow's Kremlin which were held on October 14th and 15th.
The Soviet and Czechoslovak government delegations have ended their talks in Moscow's Kremlin which were held on October 14th and 15th. The delegations exchanged opinions on certain matters stemming from the Moscow agreements. As was envisaged by the communique about the Soviet-Czechoslovak talks on Moscow on October 3rd and 4th both sides also discussed the conditions for the temporary stationing of Soviet troops on Czechoslovak territory.
Negotiating for the Soviet Union were Prime Minister Mr. Alexei Kosygin, First Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Mazurov, Foreign Minister Mr. Andrei Gromyko, Defence Minister Mr. Andrei Grechko, First Deputy Foreign Minister Mr. Kuznetsov, First Deputy Defence Minister, Chief of the General Staff Marshal Zakharov.
Czechoslovakia was represented by Prime Minister Mr. Oldrich Cernik, Deputy Prime Ministers Mr. Gamouz and Mr. Tsolotka, Minister of Justice Mr. Kuchera, Minister of Health Mr. Vlcek, Deputy Chairman of the Slovak National Council Mr. Marko, Commissioner of the Slovak National Council for Food and Agriculture Mr. Bodya, First Deputy Foreign Minister Mr. Pudlak, First Deputy Defence Minister, Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Rusov, Deputy Defence Minister Lieutenant General Dvorzhak, Deputy Minister for Economic Planning Mr. Shedivy, Department of the government's Presidium Major General Chinchar.
The talks were held in the spirit of comradeship and business-like co-operation.
