    In June 1919 the Royal Navy HM Submarine L55 struck a mine previously moored by the British while in action against two Bolshevic Destroyers. In 1928 the submarine was raised and the bodies returned to Britain, where they were buried in a collective grave in the Haslar Royal Navy Cemetery at Portsmouth.
