TRANSCRIPT: MISS GABOR: "In my car we drove to the Waldorf. And Jason, who is my daughter's friend drove my car -- it is a Rolls Royce, I must say to the garage. And my maid and I came here. And this downstairs is completely dead -- there isn't a soul here. There was one little guy behind the door. And for the first time in his life, he came and said: "Miss Gabor are you all right?" And wait a little bit, the elevator will take time to come down" -- which always happens. And just as elevator comes down, by the side door by the garage here, out came two men. One had a necktie open down lime that And the other was a little short. And shiny brow suits and exact type-casting for gangster or gamblers. And I got scared at first -- I am never scared because people like me, thank God, and I am never scared -- I got so scared that I kept looking at the men's shoes which were very pointed shoes. And I thought to myself subconsciously I hope that this little man from the hotel will not let them in the elevator. I can't not to tell them no to came in. But he did let them in. On the third floor, of suddan all of a sudden I got conscious -- I kept looking at their shoes -- that guns were in my face. They said: "If you value your life, then you give me your jewellery" So I took behind my back my big diamond ring down, and it falls on the floor, and this wonderful, wonderful elevator gentleman, who is a real gentleman, he was so bright that he didn't say anything he just looked at me and I said " I don't see anything" and I took the ring then from the floor and gave it to him, my.... he says "Take off your earrings, which were very valuable."

And I don't think he asked for the other ring, but I was so scared I took off my other ring and gave it to him too. Then he said "If you value your life, you don't say a word but tell the elevator man to come downstairs. And again on the street floor, they run hard. This little baby (dog).... ran after them and I am the biggest animal lover so I ran after the dog. And this wonderful housekeeper of mine says "Don't move". And then I kicked the dog in the elevator and nothing happened to him. And then I got upset in utter hysteria, not so much for the jewellery-- which was a fortune -- but because I was so scared, you know, afterwards."
