    M. BERNARD WITT, CHIEF TEST PILOT OF BREGUET AVIATION COMPANY, WAS AT THE CONTROLS DURING THE FLIGHT OVER THE SOUTHERN AREA OF FRANCE. MR. JAMES DELL, A TEST PILOT FOR THE BRITISH AIRCRAFT CORPORATION, WAS WITH M. WITT IN THE COCKPIT. THE JAGUAR WAS IN THE AIR FOR 30 MINUTES.

    JAGUAR IS A TACTICAL COMBAT AIRCRAFT, AND IS EQUIPPED WITH A BRITISH ROLLS ROYCE ENGINE.

    IT CAN REACH SPEEDS OF MACH 1.1 AT LOW ALTITUDES AND MACH 1.7 AT HIGH ALTITUDES.
