    Continuing the series of talks held over the last months between African Arab and Indian officials, Foreign Minister Muhamad Salih Muti of the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen, arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday for a trade conference with the Indian government.

    The People's Democratic Republic of Yemen is one of the Arab oil nations being wooed by India to supply her with petroleum products to support its slowly growing industry. Mr. Muti met with Indian Foreign Minister Sardar Swaran Singh for talks before calling on the Indian President Varahagiri Venkata Giri. Later the South Yemeni Foreign Minister went to Agra for talks with Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

    During his visit Mr. Muti also visited Raj Ghat where he placed a wreath on the Mahatma Gandhi memorial.
