Background: The new bobsleigh and toboggan run, recently completed at Igls near Innsbruck, in Austria, for next year's Winter Olympics, has been treating its "test pilots" to some thrilling rides.
The course -- which will accommodate both sports at the Olympic Games for the first time -- took only a record eight months to build.
The most advanced electronic calculating and spray concreting techniques were used to construct the 1,200 metre run, with its 14 bends.
Blending in with its superb, woodland surroundings, the course promises to carry the high-speed ice sports into a new dimension of spectacle and excitement.
This film was shot with two cameras attached at both ends of a bobsleigh as it sped through the course. It also has good natural sound.
