    The trial has resumed in Windhoek, South-West Africa, of twelve men accused of intimidating Ovambo workmen.

    It's alleged the men -- eleven Ovambo and one Coloured (Mixed race) - threatened injury to Ovambo workmen who didn't join a strike which started in the middle of December.

    Attending the hearings at Windhoek is a New York Judge, Mr. William Booth - who is observing the trial on behalf of the International Commission of Jurists.

    SYNOPSIS: The court building in Windhoek, South-West Africa - where the trial has resumed of twelve men accused of intimidating Ovambo workmen into joining a strike.

    Mr. O'Linn is among the prosecuting lawyers. It's alleged the men - eleven Ovambos and one of mixed race - threatened harm to any workman who failed to join the strike.

    The trial has attracted wide interest. Also among the prosecuting team is the public prosecutor, Mr. Jaquire.

    Judge William Booth of New York is attending the trial as an observer for the International Commission of Jurists.

    The prosecution has already produced witnesses who say they heard some of the accused warning a meeting of workers that they'd get hurt if they didn't join the strike.
