Aurelio Minio whose family in Venice have been glass blowers for many generations. blends golden sands from Oakleigh with chemicals .... reduces it to liquid in the fierce heat of the furnace... and finally moulds it with persuasive craftsmen's hands into a hundred different glittering shapes.
His companion Aurelio, who comes from a family well known for rich coloured glass, is another member of this group of fine workmen who are establishing their noble craft in this new country with a great future.
