    THREE DOCTORS, WHO HAVE BEEN IN ATTENDENCE ON THE 73 YEAR-OLD HEAD OF STATE, ARE ONLY ISSUING A MORNING BULLETIN ON THE CONDITION OF THE PRESIDENT. DURING THE PAST FEW DAYS THE TONE OF THE BULLETINS HAVE INDICATED A GRADUAL IMPROVEMENT IN PRESIDENT SEGNI'S CONDITION.

    AS CONCERN OVER HIS HEALTH HAS MOUNTED, MANY ROMANS HAVE VISITED THE QUIRINAL PALACE TO READ THE BULLETINS AND SIGN THE VISITORS BOOK AS A MEANS OF EXPRESSING THEIR CONCERN FOR THEIR PRESIDENT.
