    NEGROES WITH ANTI-RACIAL PLACARDS WERE AMONG CROWDS AT NASHVILLE AIRPORT WHEN THE PRESIDENT ARRIVED. LATER, MR KENNEDY WENT VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY SPORTS STADIUM, WHERE HE ADDRESSED AN AUDIENCE OF 30,000.

    DURING HIS NASHVILLE VISIT, PRESIDENT KENNEDY ATTENDED A CEREMONY AT WHICH HE TURNED A GOLDEN KEY TO START A EXPLOSIVE WORK BY REMOTE CONTROL ON A NEW DAM FOR THE TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY, WHICH IS CELEBRATION IT S 30TH ANNIVERSARY. MR.KENNEDY LATER DINED WITH THE GOVERNOR OF TENNESSEE AT HIS MANSION.
