    THE EVENT -- WHICH WAS NOT (NOT) A RACE -- WAS ORGANISED BY THE HISTORIC COMMERCIAL VEHICLE CLUB (H.C.V.C.), AND THE OLDEST VEHICLE TO TAKE PART WAS BUILT IN 1911.

    SO MANY VEHICLE TOOK PART THAT THERE WERE TWO STARTING POINTS, ONE AT BATTERSEA PARK, AND THE OTHER AT EPSOM. THEY STARTED OFF AT 9 A.M., AND FINISHED AT ONE O'CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON, WHEN THE LAST VEHICLE ARRIVED. AND ALL OF THEM RECEIVED AN AWARD TO COMMEMORATE THE EVEN.
