    PRINCESS ALEXANDRA VISITED THE WELFARE CENTRE FOR THE GURKHA FAMILIES AND WAS PRESENTED WITH A KUKRI (THE GURKHA KNIFE) BROOCH BY A GURKHA WIFE.

    THE WIVES AND FAMILIES OF GURKHA SOLDIERS WERE IN THEIR NATIONAL DRESS AND SOME OF THE CHILDREN PRESENTED WESTERN AND EASTERN NEPALESE DANCES.

    PRINCESS THEN VISITED A COMMUNITY CENTRE AT PAT HUANG WHERE SHE SAW THE CHINESE FAMILIES AND THEIR CHILDREN. HERE THE RECEPTION TO THE PRINCESS INCLUDED AN UNICORN DANCE. HER ROYAL HIGHNESS MIXED FREELY WITH THE CHILDREN.
