ALBERT BONGO, SPENT LAST WEEKEND (22 - 24 MARCH) IN NGAOUNDERE, NORTH CAMEROUN, INVITED TO STAY THERE BY THE CAMEROUN HEAD OF STATE, PRESIDENT AHMADOU AHIDJO. THE TWO LEADER SPENT TWO DAYS IN THE NORTH, HOLDING DISCUSSIONS ON MATTERS OF MUTUAL INTEREST AND RELATIONS BETWEEN CENTRAL AFRICAN COUNTRIES.

    ON BOTH THE POLITICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE FRONTS, THE PRESIDENTS HAVE BEEN TRYING TO ESTABLISH INCREASED COOPERATION BETWEEN THEIR TWO COUNTRIES. THEY ARE THOUGHT TO HAVE DECIDED TO TAKE THE PROBLEMS OF COOPERATION BETWEEN CENTRAL AFRICAN COUNTRIES FOR FURTHER DISCUSSION WITH THE PRESIDENT OF CONGO BRAZZAVILLE, M. ALPHONSE MASSEMBA DEBAT. THE TOPIC OF CUSTOMS AND TARIFFS BETWEEN THE CENTRAL AFRICAN COUNTRIES ARE PARTICULARLY UNDER CONSIDERATION.
