    A GROUP OF INDONESIAN WOMEN COMBAT VOLUNTEERS SAILED FROM DJAKARTA'S TANDJONG PRIOK HARBOUR ON THURSDAY FOR NORTH KALIMANTAN IN INDONESIA'S "CRUSH MALAYSIA" CAMPAIGN. THEY WERE SEEN OFF BY BRIGADIER-GENERAL BROTOSEWOOD, HEAD OF THE ARMY VOLUNTEER UNIT, MRS SUBANDRIO, WIFE OF THE FOREIGN MINISTER, AND WOMAN POLICE INSPECTOR NIZAH.

    THE WOMEN VOLUNTEERS ARE MEMBERS OF "BRIGADE TEMPUR" (COMBAT BRIGADE), AND ACCORDING TO RADIO DJAKARTA, THEY WILL BE POSTED TO THE FRONTLINE. THEY HAD UNDERGONE VIGOROUS TRAINING IN GUERILLA WARFARE AND PARACHUTE JUMPING. HOWEVER, IT DID NOT SAY HOW MANY WOMEN WERE IN THE GROUP WHICH IS UNDER THE COMMAND OF A WOMAN CAPTAIN.
