Brigadier: "Well there was a meeting of a congregation of about 200 outside the.....school in Marylands and the crowd was dispersed by police dogs. There were placards on the fences and when the sergeant went in to remove these placards he got entangled in the wire fence and he was stoned by these students and he fired 5 shots in self defence. This female who was killed it's suspected that it may have been a ricochet". And ends....... Reporter "There is scheduled to be a major meeting on Sunday here in Soweto for details to be given to the public of this new committee of tens proposals to put to Government, is it likely that this meeting will take place? Brigadier: "No".
