    IN FONTAINEBLEAU TODAY (FRIDAY) -- NEAR THE HEADQUARTERS OF ALLIED FORCES CENTRAL EUROPE -- 500 CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES WITH THE LOCAL MAYOR AND COUNCILLORS AT THEIR HEAD STAGED A MARCH TO THE PREFECTURE.

    THERE, A DELEGATION HANDED IN A PROTEST OVER THE GOVERNMENT'S COMPENSATION MEASURES WHICH THEY SAY ARE INADEQUATE. PUTTING FORWARD NEW PROPOSALS, THEY SAID ONLY THE GOVERNMENT COULD RESOLVE THE PROBLEM SINCE IT HAD CREATED IT.
