TRANSCRIPT: Rev. Philip Linden: (SEQ. 4) "To attribute kidnapping and bombing to priests, who have neither the philosophy nor the resources to support such activity, must spring from the desperation of men who have decided to stop at nothing in order to crush the anti-war movement."
TRANSCRIPT: Eqbal Ahmad: (SEQ. 6) "I am deeply opposed to the war and would hope that American involvement in Asia would terminate soon."
Reporter: "Would you condone acts of violence to try and change all this?".
Eqbal Ahmad: "In the United States?".
Eqbal Ahmad: "No. I think acts of violence are not going to help."
TRANSCRIPT: William Kustler (SEQ. 10)
Reporter: "Whose fabrication is it, this version of the affair?"
William Kustler: "Well, I am only speaking for myself now. They have made their statement. It is a fabrication by the government in order to stygmatise the piece movement. They failed with Doctor Spock because you could not make a beloved baby doctor the evil genious of a conspiracy. They failed in Chicago because they had imaginative people at the other and of the spectrum who ran away with the courtroom. Now they have gone in between, people who are not respectable in liberal eyes, as is Doctor Spock, don't have that respectability, but yet on the other hand are not of the other end of the spectrum, they are in between."
