  • Description

Lady and Sir Bernard Docker - banished from Monaco as of April 25th, following their alleged 'insult' on the Principality in a night club - were re-united at Nice airport when Sir Bernard returned to France after a few days in London. Earlier a French plain-clothes detective had served notice of expulsion on Lady Docker in her hotle suite. The expulsion order also concerns Sir Bernard. With Lady Docker, awaiting her husband at the airport, was her 19 year-old son, Lance - the unwitting source of the Monaco trouble. The 'insult' concerned Lady Docker's resentment that the Monaco authorities had rejected their request that Lance should be included on an invitation to attend the christening of Prince Albert, son of Prince Rainier and Princess Grace. While demonstrating about this in a night club, it is alleged that Lady Docker insulted the Principality and tore up a small Monaco flag. The Dockers are now banned from 150 miles of the French Riviera coastline because, by agreement, the Prefects of the Alpes Maritimes, Var and Basses Alpes followed Monaco's lead. The Dockers have used the French Riviera as their 'Playground' for the past 25 years.
