Background: MEETINGS OF FOREIGN DELEGATIONS WITH MEMBERS OF THE CENTRAL COMMITTEE OF THE LEAGUE OF COMMUNISTS OF YUGOSLAVIA
In spite of abounding work on the plenary sessions of the Eight Congress of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia, both the members of foreign delegations and the hosts had numerous meetings, discussions and exchanges of attitudes on this third day of the Congress.

Delegates of foreign communist, socialist and progressive parties, staying in hotel Metropol in Belgrade, were met there by the members of the Executive Committee of the Central Committee of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia.

Vladimir Bakaric had met first with the head of the Finnish delegation, Lars Junitola and then was host at the lunch offered to the Austrian delegation.

Osman Karabegovic had talks with the head and members of the delegation of the Arab Socialist Party of the United Arab Republic and Veljko Micunovic and Misa Pavicevic met with the members of the Mongolian delegation.

Two official lunches were offered in the new Belgrade hotel - SLAVIJA - The member of the Execute Committee of the Central Committee of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia, Krste Crvenkovski, had a longer exchange of attitudes with the head and members of the Algerian delegation.

The member of the Executive Committee of the Central Committee of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia, Lazar Kolisevski, met in another hall the head, Leon Maka, and the members of the Democratic Party of Guinea.

GREETINGS OF FOREIGN DELEGATES
The participants of the Congress are being greeted by heads of foreign delegations every day.

On December 9th and 10th, 1964, the Congress was greeted by the President of the Socialist Party of Chile - Raul Ampugra, by the head of the delegation of the Sudanese Union of Mali - Songolo Kulibal, by the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Morocco, - Ali Jata, by Nikoele Tchaushesku who greeted the Congress in the same name of the Rumanian Labour Party, by the head of the delegation of the Revolutionary Party of Mongolia - Shagdarsuren Ponzeg, by Raul Frielich who spoke in the name of the United Socialist Party of Germany, by the head of the delegation of the Communist Party of Norway, - Just Lippen and by the member of the Polish delegation, Fracisek Vanyiolka.

The work of the Congress is being continued now in discussions within committees, concerning the reports previously submitted.
