CARDIN: "I may say that I've have just come for China last December. My next trip is 18 March. I come back to China with all my models and my fashion eventually to show the Chinese people, so the Chinese can see what we do in fashion. The Chinese view...they are expecting what is new in the way of fashion in the world. What they want is the capacity to reproduce our dresses. Because, the factory in China, is very well, and the (INDISTINCT) is very interesting, because she knows the job very well, the hand, (INDISTINCT) is very antique, and she expects to produce. And now, the China is a friend to all countries, and it is very interesting to know the China likes the fashions from Paris and maybe, to produce all the design for the factory and expecting to export for all countries in the world."
REPORTERS: "Are you expecting this market in China will bring something for Europe, all Europe?"
CARDIN: "Oh, sure. We are expecting in the future, not for tomorrow, but, say, in ten years, China becomes the most important country in the world. Because, you know, Japan you know what has happened in twenty years, and now, China is looking to Japan, and America, and sometimes...and I'm sure China change very fast and very quickly in ten years.....They are so different today."
