    SIX-DAY RACES NO LONGER ARE THE SIX-DAY ORDEAL THEY WERE IN THE PIONEER DAYS OF THE SPORT. NOWADAYS, COMPETITORS MUST TAKE A FOUR-HOUR BREAK FOR EVERY EIGHT ON THE TRACK. THIS GIVES SPECTATORS A BREAK TOO.
