    Since 1863, firemen in Chile, South America are volunteers. It is a matter of pride of the young men. The General Command of the Fire Corps is also in the hands of veteran volunteers; among them you can find some outstanding people of chilean high society. Every foreign group, of the sons of this foreigners established in Chile, has now a fire company. Government provides all elements necessary. With no budget for salaries, chilean firemen have the best equipment and the more up to date in South America. The British families in Chile, handle the 14th Company in Santiago and in Valparaiso, one of the oldest of the country. In this films, Captain Scott Williams instructs a group of new volunteers.
