The opt net, broken up this week by israeli Security, had been operating out of Haife where a small bookshop, owned by one of the Jewish suspects, was weed by them as a meeting place. Official information has been limited, but newspaper reporter in Tel Aviv say the ring planned to assassinates some Israeli leaders.....including General Dayan. Individual Jews have been arrested on espionage charges before, but this is believed the first time evince the creation of the state of Israel that an Arab-Jewish network of any size has been uncovered. Senior police officers believed the combining inspiration of the group was a mutual belief in Maoist-Communist doctrines, and have alleged that a former Israeli Communist Breach leader, Daoud Osman Turki, was the Israeli controller from his bookshop in Central Maifa. Other suspects are known to have attended Haifa University.

Israeli Security officers broke up the spy net earlier this week. They believe this bookshop in Central Haifa, owned by Daoud Turki...one of the Israeli suspects arrested, was regular meeting place and the centre of the network's operations. These are the Arab quarters of Haifa. This is through to be the first time since the creation of the state of Israel that an Arab-Jewish network of any size has been uncovered.
The University of Haifa, which come of those arrested had attended. Various reports have alleged links between the network and both Syrian and Egyptian Intelligence. Senior police officials think the group's common inspiration was the mutual belief in Maoist-communist doctrines.
