YESTERDAY'S INCIDENT STARTED WHEN A GROUP OF ABOUT 30 NEO-FASCIST STUDENTS PAINTED A LARGE ORANGE SWASTIKA AND OBLITERATED A PAINTED HAMMER-AND-SICKLE SIGN ON THE WALL OF THE UNIVERSITY'S ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, WHICH HAD BEEN OCCUPIED BY LEFT-WING STUDENTS 'AGAINST A NEO-FASCIST ATTACK'.

THE LEFT-WING STUDENTS ATTACKED THE PAINTERS AND ABOUT 200 NEO-FASCIST STUDENTS, WAVING ITALIAN FLAGS AND CHANTING SLOGANS, MARCHED ACROSS FROM THE LAW-FACULTY BUILDING THEY HAVE BEEN OCCUPYING TO GIVE THEIR SUPPORT TO THE STUDENTS UNDER ATTACK.
