    THE 350 CC CLASS RACE WAS WON ON SATURDAY (JULY 25TH) BY RHODESIA'S JIM REDMAN RIDING A HONDA. HE FINISHED THE 157KMS. (97.6 MILES) DISTANCE IN A TIME OF 59 MINUTES 42.2 SECONDS FOR AN AVERAGE SPEED OF 155.8 KMS-PER-HOUR (96.8 MILES-AN-HOUR). REDMAN ALSO CLOCKED THE FASTEST LAP, WITH A SPEED OF 157.5 KMS. (97.9 MILES-AN-HOUR). SECOND PLACE WAS TAKEN BY THE CZECHOSLOVAKIAN GUSTAV HAVEL ON A JAWA IN 1 HOUR, 1 MINUTE 10.6 SECONDS; WHILE THIRD POSITION WENT TO CANADA'S M. DUFF ON AN A.J.S. HIS TIME FOR THE DISTANCE WAS 1 HOUR 1 MIN.18.1 SECONDS.

    THE 125 CC CLASS RUN ON SUNDAY, PROVED TO BE A WIN FOR HUGH ANDERSON OF NEW ZEALAND. IN THE RACE, OVER 15 LAPS OF THE CIRCUIT, TOTALLING 129.4 KMS (80.4 MILES) HE CLOCKED A TIME OF 51 MINUTES 5.1 SECONDS. RIDING A SUZUKI, HE HAD AN AVERAGE SPEED 151.7 KMS-PER-HOUR. (94.2 MILES AND HOUR). THE SWISS RIDER, LUIGI TAVERI CAME SECOND ON A HONDA. HIS TIME FOR THE DISTANCE: 51 MINUTES 22.9 SECS. THIRD PLACE WAS TAKEN BY THE WINNER OF THE 350 CC EVENT - JIM REDMAN WITH 51 MINUTES 26.7 SECONDS. THE WINNER ANDERSON, ALSO ACHIEVED THE FASTEST LAP, AND SET A NEW COURSE RECORD OF 154.3 KMS-PER-HOUR.
