    PRESIDENT KENNETH KAUNDA OF ZAMBIA OPENED THE ZAMBIA TRADE FAIR ON SATURDAY IN NDOLA.

    NINE FOREIGN COUNTRIES ARE EXHIBITING AT THE FAIR THEY ARE AUSTRIA, BRITAIN, CONGO, INDIA, KENYA, POLAND, TANZANIA AND WEST GERMANY. PRESIDENT KAUNDA IN OPENING THE FAIR SAID THAT HE WAS PLEASED TO SEE AN INCREASED IN THE NUMBER OF EXHIBITORS AND THAT HE PAID A SPECIAL TRIBUTE TO THOSE EXHIBITORS FROM FOREIGN COUNTRIES FOR "SUPPORTING THE FAIR IN THE PRESENT TRYING TIMES".

    THE FAIR, WHICH WAS HELD OVER THREE DAYS, INCLUDED DEMONSTRATIONS OF TRIBAL DANCING, PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING, MODEL AIRCRAFT FLYING AND A SPECIAL FLYING DISPLAY GIVEN BY BRITAIN ROYAL AIR FORCE JAVELIN JETS, WHICH ARE STATIONED IN ZAMBIA AT THE MOMENT.
