  • Description

About 30 members of the Trenton, Jew Jersey, USA, Committee for a Sane Nuclear Policy gathered at the town's State House, August 3, for the start of a 4-day protest march to New York.

With their motto 'No More Hiroshimas' emblazoned on banners the marchers, including a large percentage of students, from New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Massachusetts, hope to end their 56-mile march with a thousand-strong parade up Fifth Avenue, exactly fifteen years after the dropping of the first A-bomb on Japan.

The National Committee for a Sane Nuclear Policy, which includes many prominent New York Democrats including Mrs. Roosevelt, held a mass rally in the Madison Square Gardens Stadium two months ago attended by 17,000 people.
