    Background: The Triennale Exposition at Milan was inaugurated present British Minister for Public Instruction Sir David Eccles and Italian Minister of Labour the Hon. Togni. The exposition deals with modern trends in Architecture, City Plans, and decorative arts and is an international affair. The main theme on which this XII edition of the exposition is based is 'the Home and the School'.

    Great Britain participates in these exposition and presents a complete elementary schools 'of standard type' which accommodated 120 pupils and is furnished with all modern comforts. A 'homey' atmosphere reigns over this type school where the spacious rooms are congenial and where the furniture and other appliances are made to measure so as to accommodate the children.
