Background: Sir Winston's personal physician, Lord Moran, returned to Nice on Monday, 24th. March for a further examination, at the villa Pausa. He was accompanied by Mrs Soames, the youngest daughter of Sir Winston Churchill.
On arrival at Nice Airport Lord Moran said, "There is nothing alarming that I know of". Later he examined blood tests taken by Dr. Roberts during the weekend.
Mrs Soames is expected to remain at the villa Pausa for a time; and Mrs. Duncan Sandys, her sister and wife of the British Minister of Defence, is staying at an hotel in Monte Carlo.
Later, Lord Moran said "Sir Winston Churchill may now have to stay on the Riviera for a little longer".
