The Miss World contest, held annually in London, moves to the Caribbean next year where judging will be held aboard the liner, Queen Elizabeth Two.

This year, there have been some criticisms of the standard of entrants but the contest is still attracting interest comparable to that of recent years.

SYNOPSIS: Fifty-two of the world's most beautiful girls were brought together in London on Sunday for a preview of the form judges will see in Friday's final of the Miss World contest. Although there has been some criticism of the standard of entrants this year, it can be seen that the world still has girls beautiful enough to carry the Miss World title. The final has been traditionally held in London. But next year, Miss World will be chosen aboard the liner, Queen Elizabeth Two, anchored offshore in the Caribbean.

Contestants included Miss Canada, nineteen-year-old Bonny Brady, a brown-haired, blue eyed model. The press preview was a casual affair with the girls more relaxed than they probably will be at the judging.

Norway's Ingeborg Sorensen could afford to smile at the aim of the photographers. Her hobby is pistol shooting.

Monigue Borgeld of Holland, five feet eight inches tall is a secretary who enjoys camping in her spare time.

In the days leading up to the final, Australia's Belinda Green was named as one of the favourites to take the title. Ladbroke's, the London bookmakers, gave her winning odds of ten to one.
