    To day the 25th of February at 2.30 hours the State guests from the Philippines and his staff together with President Sukarno and his assistants arrived at Tuban airport Denpasar. In the suite were also the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Philippine LOPEZ and from the Indonesian side the Minister of Foreign Affairs SUBANDRIO. Having descended from the aeroplane the heads of the two countries were welcomed by the civil as well as the military authorities in Bali.

    Among this were the Governor of Bali SUTEDJA, the commander in Chief of the XVI Military District Udayana Col. SAFIUDIN, the head asterncy Purwante, the head of the Police Commander (commissariat of Bali Dr. MUHADJI and the Commander of Ltd. Col. SUROSO.

    The State-guests from the Philippine was very heartily and gaiety and welcomed by lines of thousands of boys and girls of the Last were parade on earth. The guests were though sent flowers at which is a sign of great ceremonies welcome.

    President DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL and Mrs. EVANGELINA MACARAEC MACAPAGAL with President SUKARNO beside him in an open car to Denpasar along the reads of which every where a heard the shouts "MERDEKA" and "LIVE INDONESIA-PHILIPPINES". In receiving state Guests from abroad. Bali shows some characteristics which belong particularly to it.

    The climax of the reception of the State guests formed place in Dempasar, where alongside the roads were put up gay decorations and the road from Denpasar to Tampaksiring was decorated with bamboos with elaborated designs. The suite of the State guests went directly from Dempasar to the Government guest house in Tampaksiring where the highguests and the high officials of the two countries stayed the night and where important meetings were held.

    The greatest attraction which is always will received by the State guests what come to Bali is a kind of allegorical procession which depicts many customs that are related to the ceremony which are still up held to day and which are very interesting to foreign guests because of the unspoiled character.

    This procession was offered to the High Guests from the Philippines and covered many ceremonies of the Hindu Bali religion which must be taken part in by all the faithful to the Hindu Bali religion. After the allegorical procession followed another one about the dances and the art of playing drums which are still very much alive among the people of Bali.

    The most attractive and interesting part of this procession is the Pondet dances. The suite of President Macapagal to Indonesia was accompanied this time by tons of Philippine journalist who represent various newspapers in the Philippines. From this it is clear that the visit of President Macapagal is very important as the problem of Malaysia will be discussed and a way out to sought for.

    It is also clear that Indonesia will go on confronting Malaysia as long as a political solution not yet been reached at.
