    VIOLENCE BROKE OUT IN LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY MONDAY FOLLOWING A POLICE SPONSORED RALLY SUPPORTING THE AMERICANS IN IRAN. IT BEGAN AS A PEACEFUL MARCH THROUGHOUT THE CITY. FIVE HUNDRED POLICEMEN AND THEIR FAMILIES GATHERED AT A DOWNTOWN PARK FOR PRAYER AND SUPPORT OF THE HOSTAGES. BUT MINUTES AFTER THE PROGRAM ENDED, HALF A DOZEN COMMUNIST WORKERS PARTY MEMBERS LAUNCHED A RALLY ON THEIR OWN DEMANDING THE SHAH BE RETURNED. SHORTLY AFTER THEIR RALLY BEGAN A CONFRONTATION BROKE OUT BETWEEN SOME OF THE MEMBERS AND CITIZENS OF LOUISVILLE OPPOSED TO THEIR STANCE. NO ONE WAS SERIOUSLY HURT, BUT TWO OF THE PARTY MEMBERS WERE ARRESTED.
