This appears to be stock footage supporting the news story which had been hushed up by both sides, according to Francis Pike in Hirohito's War (2015, Bloomsbury Publishing) page 96. The more important live footage of the incident, filmed on board by Norman Alley for Universal News, appears in two similarly-titled clips lasting 3 and 5 mnutes.
