    Background: VISNEWS filmed His Holiness Pope John XXlll eagerly watching the first helicopter to land inside the Vatican City Feb 15. After blessing the machine in St Damaso Square His Holiness was presented with a model by Signor De Caro, President of the Committee studying the possibility of employing helicopters for public transportation in Rome.

    The aircraft, of the Belgian airline SABENA, is an American VERTOL 44, and had previously carried out landing tests in St Peter's Square and other parts of the City.
