    HERE IS THE FIRST PUBLIC FIRING OF THE LARGEST SOLID PROPELLANT ROCKET MOTOR IN WESTERN EUROPE. IT IS 3 FT IN DIAMETER AND SOME 12 FT. LONG.

    THIS TYPE OF ROCKET MOTOR, IN A HYPERSONIC ROCKET, COULD BE USED FOR AERODYNAMIC TESTING AT TEN TIMES THE SPEED OF SOUND, AS WELL AS FOR SPACE RESEARCH.
