    American astronauts take final physical examinations at Cape Kennedy, Florida as everything looks ready for two-man Gemini flight.

    McDivitt, were given four hours of intensive physical examinations on June 1st at Cape Kennedy, Florida, where they are scheduled to be thrust into orbit the morning of June 3rd. Both men were pronounced in first-class condition for the flight. They said simply: we are ready.

    The flight director, Christopher Craft, was more expressive. He said: we couldn't look better. The weathermen are enthusiastic and forecast clear, ideal weather for the shot.

    The pair are planning on a 62 or 63 orbit, 98 hour flight in their Gemini-4 space craft. If all goes well, they will land in the Atlantic Ocean on Monday, June 7th.

    The final physical examinations were uneventful. The command pilot, Major McDivitt, passed his easily. Major White, who will take a "walk in space outside the Gemini capsule during the flight, got the same clean medical bill from the doctors.
